Amanda Hathorn sailed the 7 seas for over a decade working on cruise ships in a variety of onboard roles from Youth Staff, to Security to Crew Trainer and finally Human Resources Manager with multiple cruise lines including, Princess Cruises, Cunard, Royal Caribbean International and P&O Australia.
After Amanda finished her last contract with P&O Australia in 2010 she moved into shore-side cruise ship recruitment, hiring for one of Canada’s most established cruise line partners for an additional 6 years.
In 2015 Amanda started her own cruise ship employment information, consultation and resume design business called Get a Life at Sea where she now helps adventurers successfully navigate the cruise line application and interview process via her products and services so they too can get paid to travel the world!
